On April 15, the anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s birth, the Italian Embassy in New Delhi celebrates National Made in Italy Day, an occasion dedicated to safeguarding, supporting, and promoting the excellence of Italian creativity and production both nationally and internationally.
The initiative aims to preserve the authenticity and integrity of Italy’s cultural and industrial heritage. To celebrate this occasion, the Embassy’s Cultural Center presents a special screening of a selection of short documentaries highlighting some of the most notable expressions of Made in Italy. The films are drawn from Ideas, an original web series developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that explores five ideas linked to different disciplines and fields: from digital culture, to fashion and visual arts, to the third sector, from business and sustainability; to the food and energy sectors. The documentaries explore the innovation and transformation shaping the productive landscape of contemporary Italy.
From energy and medical research to the visual arts and aerospace, they present an engaging narrative of a country where tradition and forward-thinking coexist, generating new forms of excellence and global impact.
