DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre has opened the Le Petit Arch café. This space, situated within the ultra-luxury hotel, offers an experience and a range of products dedicated to 1895 Coffee Designers by Lavazza, thereby bringing one of the Turin-based group’s most exclusive concepts dedicated to speciality coffee to the United Arab Emirates. The Le Petit Arch café was opened on 18 June 2026. As is well known, the Turin-based brand’s concept takes its name from the year in which Luigi Lavazza founded the historic Italian coffee roastery and represents the pinnacle of the company’s speciality coffee offering, with a journey that showcases rare origins, bespoke roasts and precision extraction methods.
Le Petit Arch: an immersive experience dedicated to speciality coffee
More than just a coffee shop, Le Petit Arch has been conceived as a sensory experience dedicated to lovers of high-quality coffee.
Guests can choose from a range of manual brewing methods, including V60, Chemex and Cold Brew, prepared by specialist baristas with the aim of bringing out the aromatic characteristics of the different origins.
Each preparation is designed to offer a personalised tasting experience, focusing on precision, craftsmanship and the quality of the raw ingredients.
Three coffees take centre stage
As for the speciality coffee by Lavazza, the menu features some of the most representative varieties from the 1895 Coffee Designers collection.
These include:
- Kafa Forest CRU: A single-origin from Ethiopia’s Kafa Forest, noted for its vibrant citrus flavors and bright acidity.
- Cocoa Reloaded: A rich coffee with pronounced chocolate notes, layered sweetness, and depth.
- Flor de Oro: A delicate single-origin distinguished by floral aromas and natural sweetness.
Pairings designed to bring out the best in every cup
The experience is rounded off by the food pairings created by Le Petit Arch (formerly known as Gourmandises).
The selection of artisanal products has been developed to complement the various brews, creating a balance between flavours, textures and aromatic profiles, and enhancing the tasting experience.
A collaboration between hospitality and coffee culture
According to Shujaat Yar, General Manager of Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, the Le Petit Arch project stems from the shared values between the two companies.
“The opening of this venue reflects a shared passion for craftsmanship, quality and innovation, creating a destination where coffee is elevated into a refined and immersive experience.”
The new venue is open daily from 7am to 10pm, within the Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, on Airport Road in the Garhoud district.
