Hilton Opens Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit

Hilton has opened Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit, introducing the Canopy Hotels brand to Southeast Asia. Located in Bangkok’s Asoke neighbourhood, the hotel combines locally inspired design, dining experiences and city-focused activities while expanding Hilton’s lifestyle portfolio in the Asia Pacific region.

The hotel is situated within walking distance of the Asoke BTS Skytrain and Sukhumvit MRT stations, providing convenient access to Bangkok’s shopping, dining, entertainment and business districts, including Terminal 21 and Times Square Shopping Centre.

Alexandra Murray, Area Vice President and Regional Head of Southeast Asia, Hilton, said:

“The opening of Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit marks the introduction of the Canopy Hotels brand to Southeast Asia. The hotel combines locally inspired design, dining and neighbourhood experiences, allowing guests to explore Bangkok while enjoying Hilton’s hospitality.”

The hotel’s interiors draw inspiration from Asoke’s industrial heritage and Bangkok’s evolving urban landscape. Designed by AvroKO, the public spaces incorporate elements influenced by the city’s history, including references to the former Sri Krung Sound Film Studio and traditional architecture.

Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit offers 174 guest rooms across multiple categories, including Canopy Rooms, Urban View Rooms, Courtyard Rooms, Canopy Corner Rooms and suites. The interiors feature handcrafted details, warm neutral tones and design elements inspired by traditional Thai homes.

Guests can also access a rooftop swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness centre and flexible room configurations suitable for families and groups.

The hotel features four dining venues:

  • Cante, serving Spanish-inspired wood-fired cuisine.
  • SoolHaus, a Korean-inspired cocktail bar.
  • Luso, an all-day café serving locally roasted coffee and Thai teas.
  • Glint, a rooftop pool bar overlooking the Bangkok skyline.

To help guests experience the destination, the hotel has introduced curated neighbourhood activities led by a dedicated City Curator, including local walking tours, canal boat experiences and collaborations with Bangkok-based lifestyle brand LalaLove.

Alex Coleman, Vice President and Global Brand Leader, Canopy Hotels, said:
