The Chief Executive Officer of Law Automobile, Dr. Lawrence Momodu, has celebrated his 40th birthday in grand style with an elegant all-white party in Abuja, an event that also marked the seventh anniversary of his .automobile company.
Top music artistes, including Steve Crown, Solomon Lange, Faze, and several other entertainers were on ground to thrill guests at the star-studded colourful ceremony.
The event also attracted family members, friends, business associates, and distinguished guests from across different sectors, making it a memorable double celebration of personal and corporate milestones.
Speaking during the event, Dr. Momodu and his family expressed profound gratitude to God for the privilege of attaining the age of 40, describing the journey as one filled with divine grace, favour, and countless blessings.
He noted that the occasion was not only a celebration of his birthday but also a reflection on seven years of resilience, growth, and excellence in business.
The event was attended by key stakeholders from the automobile and entertainment industries, captains of industry, heads of corporate organisations, academics, government officials, and other notable personalities.
In his remarks, Dr. Momodu appreciated his family, members of staff, business partners, and loyal customers for their unwavering support throughout his entrepreneurial journey, stressing that their encouragement has been instrumental to the steady growth of Law Automobile.
Reflecting on the company’s humble beginnings, he recounted his journey from South Korea to Nigeria.
“I left Nigeria in 2008 when I was 22 yrs old to Malaysia. My plan was to continue my education and working, but there was no job available for Africans in Malaysia. I got admission into Innovative College and paid all the fees for the first semester. After some months it was very hard keeping up with all the bills monthly because there was no job available especially the foreign students.
“I came back to Nigeria the following year in 2009. Then I applied for United State visa and was denied for the visa. Then I made a research online about a country I can be working at the same time continue my education. I came across South Korea. I applied for the visa and got it that same Year 2009. Then I waited to celebrate Christmas and new year with my family and friends. In the first week of January 2010, travelled to South Korea. While I was there I got connected with some Nigerians who live there.
“They helped me to secure a job in a production company and after 2 years I was able to save some reasonable money to start buying cars and ship down to Nigeria for my brother who will receive them and put them out for sale. After selling, the money will be sent back to me to buy more. I was doing that until I returned back to Nigeria in 2015 to get settled down and establish my business,
“Then in December 2015 I travelled to Cape Town, South Africa then returned back In 2016 to establish and focus on my automobile business. Most of the vehicles we sell are imported from South Korea because I have built very strong business relationships there over the years, while some are sourced from the United States”.
Dr. Momodu described Law Automobile as a brand committed to providing high-quality and reliable vehicles, adding that the company’s reputation has been built on trust, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
Expressing appreciation for the gift of life, he said turning 40 represents the beginning of another chapter of greater accomplishments.
He attributed his achievements to God’s faithfulness, nothing that divine grace has remained his greatest source of strength in overcoming challenges, meeting expectations, and pursuing excellence with determination.
Friends and associates also spoke glowingly of the celebrant who they said is a dependable ally who shows up for his friends at difficult times.
The entertainers also took their turn to express their gratitude to the celebrant for his consistent support to the industry, wishing him God’s continuous blessings.
