Gong Yoo to hold fan meeting “The Long Take” in Jakarta, October 17

JAKARTA – Actor Gong Yoo is back with a tour fan meeting titled “The Long Take” which was held in several countries in Asia including Jakarta. He will hold his first fan meeting at Istora Senayan, Jakarta on October 17, 2026.

SOOP management as an agency initially uploaded a teaser video featuring the actor with his journal containing a letter expressing his longing for fans.

In addition to Indonesia, Gong Yoo is scheduled to visit several countries starting from Yokohama, Japan on October 4, followed by Thailand, Macau, the Philippines and ending with South Korea on November 28.

In terms of drama, Gong Yoo also made a special appearance in the series The Squid Game which received a positive response from the public. He then played the series The Silent Sea and The Trunk.

The actor also returned to acting in a series titled Tantara with Song Hye Kyo which tells the story of the struggles of entertainment industry players behind the scenes in the ’80s and is planned to air this year.

Gong Yoo also starred in the variety Guardian: The Lonely and Great God 10th Anniversary to celebrate 10 years since the drama Goblin was released. In this event, he met again with Kim Go Eun, Lee Dong Wook, and Yoo In Na for a two-day, one-night trip in Gapyeong, South Korea.
