Wendy Wu Tours has partnered with Japan’s largest airline, ANA, to encourage travel agents to think “beyond the traditional cherry blossom season”.
Their new campaign positions Japan as a year-round destination, backed by offers including free flights and half-price single supplements.
The initiative coincides with the launch of Wendy Wu Tours’ 2026-28 Japan brochure and highlights experiences available in early summer, autumn and beyond.
Wendy Wu Tours’ escorted tours collection spanning the country’s famous highlights alongside lesser-explored regions including Hokkaido, Kyushu and Shikoku.
Offers available to the end of July include free flights on selected Japan tours; partner-flies-free on selected departures; half-price single supplements on selected group tours; and solo savings of up to £800 across dedicated solo departures.
Gary King, head of trade sales at Wendy Wu Tours, said: “For many travellers, Japan has become synonymous with cherry blossom, but the reality is that it’s one of the world’s greatest year-round touring destinations.
“Early summer brings spectacular flower displays, lush landscapes and comfortable touring temperatures, while autumn delivers breathtaking colours, incredible seasonal cuisine and a more relaxed visitor experience.
“Working with ANA gives us a fantastic opportunity to challenge those perceptions and help our trade partners start different conversations with their customers.”
The campaign also highlights ANA’s premium customer experience, with the airline operating daily flights between Heathrow and Tokyo Haneda.
