Cambodia food delegation studies Korea’s advanced processing industry

Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (MISTI) Undersecretary of State and Project Director of the FTC Project, Hong Rada, led a Cambodian delegation to the Republic of Korea from June 16–20 to study the country’s advanced food industry. The delegation included representatives from Khmer Enterprise and seven local producers.

The group toured five institutions, including the Korea Food Research Institute, the Foodpolis Food Industry Cluster, the CJ CheilJedang Food and Biotechnology Company, local processing enterprises, and exhibition areas at Starfield Hanam.

The tour provided insight into advanced technologies, production systems, and industry innovation. These experiences are expected to strengthen Cambodia’s food processing sector and support the growth, competitiveness, and sustainability of local enterprises.
