Beijing-headquartered Tiantai Law Firm has officially launched its Jakarta office in Indonesia, marking another key expansion in Southeast Asia following its Kuala Lumpur branch, which opened last year.
The Jakarta office is led by Rao Guodong, senior partner of the firm’s Shanghai branch, together with a team of seasoned local and international partners including Ramzy Hilmyawan, Mesianti Tobing and Wang Ziwei.
Going forward, the new office will focus on delivering services across four core sectors, namely digital economy, new energy, mining and manufacturing.
According to a statement from the firm, the launch represents a major milestone in its institutional development along the Belt and Road Initiative. Tiantai will continue to build a comprehensive legal service network covering major ASEAN economies, delivering integrated legal support for clients expanding their businesses across Southeast Asia.
Tiantai now has 41 offices globally, including three overseas branches in Kuala Lumpur, Prague and Jakarta.
