The new portal offers travel, health, and motor plans with rewards.

Cathay launched an insurance platform offering members access to travel, health, home, motor, and personal accident coverage from insurance partners whilst allowing eligible purchases to earn Asia Miles.

The platform brings together insurance products in a single digital portal where members can browse and purchase coverage, Cathay said in a media release.

The company said members purchasing through the platform can also access support for policy management and claims.

The platform features products from insurance partners, including Cigna Healthcare, Chubb, and Zurich Insurance.

Insurance purchases made through the platform will allow members to earn Asia Miles and selected travel rewards, including flight credits, according to Cathay.

Cathay said it plans to expand the platform by adding more insurance products and insurance partners.

To mark the launch, the company introduced a limited-time “Shield for Miles Lucky Draw” with more than 400 prizes worth a combined total of over 1.5 million Asia Miles.

According to Cathay, members can register for the promotion, whilst those who purchase selected insurance products will receive additional entries.

The company said the top prize of up to 476,000 Asia Miles can be redeemed for two Cathay Pacific business class return tickets within its network.
