Brighton College Bangkok Vibhavadi is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Public Choice Award for Innovative Facilities at the prestigious ASEAN School Awards 2026, recognising the College’s outstanding commitment to creating future-ready educational environments that inspire curiosity, confidence, and kindness.

Officially announced in May 2026, the ASEAN School Awards celebrate schools across the region that demonstrate excellence, innovation, and meaningful impact in education. Brighton College Bangkok Vibhavadi was selected through public voting, reflecting strong support and confidence from families, educators, and the wider community across Southeast Asia.

Designed in partnership with Brighton College UK, the Vibhavadi campus was envisioned as far more than a school building. Every aspect of the campus was intentionally created to enhance learning, wellbeing, creativity, and collaboration; delivering a purpose-driven environment where pupils are inspired to thrive academically and personally.

A key driving force behind the development of the campus was Khun Napong Paripontpochanapisuti, Board Member of Brighton College Thailand, who personally oversaw the construction and played a central role in the design and development of the school from concept through completion.

Khun Napong Paripontpochanapisuti commented:

“From the earliest concept stage through to construction, our vision was to create far more than a beautiful campus. Every space was intentionally designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, wellbeing, and a genuine love of learning. We are incredibly proud that Brighton College Bangkok Vibhavadi has been recognised by the wider ASEAN community as a model of innovative educational design for the next generation.”

The award recognises Brighton College Bangkok Vibhavadi’s exceptional facilities, including its professional-standard Performing Arts Theatre, Science Labs, Innovation Hub, Sixth Form Centre, specialist Science and Design & Technology laboratories, rooftop swimming pool, competition-grade sports facilities, and thoughtfully designed Early Years environment inspired by nature and play-based learning. Sustainability also forms an important part of the campus design, with solar energy systems integrated throughout the school buildings.

Mr. Crispian Waterman, Headmaster of Brighton College Bangkok Vibhavadi, said:

“This award is a wonderful recognition of the vision behind Brighton College Bangkok Vibhavadi. Every space on campus was intentionally designed to inspire learning, creativity, and human connection. We are delighted that the wider community across ASEAN has recognised the importance of educational environments that genuinely place children at the centre of design.”

K. Nusara (Assakul) Banyatpiyaphod, Chair of Governors of Brighton College Bangkok Vibhavadi, added:

“We are deeply honoured to receive this Public Choice Award. It reflects the trust and support of our parents, pupils, staff, and wider community. At Brighton College Bangkok Vibhavadi, we believe exceptional facilities are not about architecture alone; they are about creating spaces where pupils feel inspired, supported, and empowered to thrive academically and personally.”

Khun Nusara (Assakul) Banyatpiyaphod, Chair of Governors of Brighton College Thailand, together with the Executive Committee and College Leadership Team (CLT), expressed their appreciation to the entire Brighton community for contributing to the school’s continued success and shared vision for world-class education in Thailand.

This recognition further strengthens Brighton College Bangkok Vibhavadi’s position as one of the region’s leading international schools, combining academic excellence with innovative, child-centred design inspired by the educational philosophy and values of Brighton College UK: nurturing pupils who are intellectually curious, confident, and kind.
