Lee Andrews LIVE: Kate Price talks about ‘heartache she didn’t see coming’ as lands in Dubai

After Lee Andrews mysteriously vanished for two weeks, his wife Katie Price claimed that he had been imprisoned in Dubai on suspicion of espionage.

Following that claim, it was reported that he would be released from prison on Monday 1 June – if he paid a four figure fine. Katie was thought to be going out to meet him, as a source said: “[Friends] are worried that she is going to fly out to Dubai to go and meet him when he comes out of prison on Monday. After everything Lee’s put her through the last couple of weeks, she’s been very scared, very anxious, very worried about him.”

But Monday has come and gone, as it is not only Tuesday 2 June in the UK, but also in Dubai. And there has been no sign of Lee.

Lee first ‘went missing’ in mid May. At the time, Katie claimed he had been kidnapped, saying that the last time she had facetimed him, he was inside an “old, dirty van” with his hands bound – with Lee insisting he’d been transported to a “black site”.

There was heavy speculation about if this was true, especially after Lee still appeared to be somewhat active on social media as he followed someone new on Instagram. Eventually, Katie said Lee had been found but was in prison.

She said: “I have found him, he is alive, and he is ok. I told him how worried I had been and told him I loved him. It was very rushed but he said the authorities out there thought he was a spy.”

Katie disclosed that she’d informed Lee he was “the most hated man in Britain” during a telephone conversation with him. Speaking to her sister Sophie on their podcast, she recalled: “I went ‘Don’t worry about it Lee just focus on one thing – you are the most hated man in Britain’ is what I said.

“He said ‘what, what, why?’ and I said ‘trust me, you are the most hated man in Britain, everyone thinks this is a scammer, everyone thinks I’m in on it’.

“He’s like ‘what has gone on, I haven’t seen anything’ and I said ‘we will discuss it all when you’re out’. It’s been a b****y nightmare it’s gone viral, this and that.”
