SWISS to resume Tel Aviv flights in July 2026 as Dubai suspension extended

SWISS International Air Lines plans to restart flights between Zurich and Tel Aviv from 1 July 2026, following months of disruption linked to the security situation in the Middle East. The airline says it is now making the operational preparations needed to resume the route, including crew scheduling and aircraft allocation, while coordinating with employee representatives. Other airlines within the Lufthansa Group are expected to resume Tel Aviv services even earlier, from June 2026.

At the same time, SWISS is extending the suspension of its Dubai flights until 13 September 2026 for operational reasons, while services to Beirut will remain halted until 24 October 2026. Passengers affected by the cancellations can either rebook free of charge or request a full refund.

With Dubai operations still suspended, SWISS is reallocating aircraft capacity to destinations with stronger demand, particularly India. As a result, the airline will continue operating a second daily Zurich–Delhi service until at least 13 September 2026 using an Airbus A330, supplementing its regular daily flight.

SWISS said it continues to closely monitor developments in the Middle East in coordination with Swiss and local authorities as well as partners within the Lufthansa Group.
