VFS Global has opened 12 Premium Application Centres across India for UK visa applicants as travel demand from India to the United Kingdom continues to rise. The centres are aimed at providing a faster and more comfortable visa submission process while following the guidelines set by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).

The company said the Premium Application Centres are designed for customers looking for convenience, privacy and time efficiency. The service is expected to benefit business travellers, families, senior citizens and professionals with busy schedules. Applicants can select their preferred Premium Application Centre while applying for a UK visa online.

The centres offer dedicated assistance, shorter waiting times, comfortable seating and additional convenience services. Services include biometric enrolment, document upload and refreshments, though facilities may vary depending on the location.

Yummi Talwar, Chief Operating Officer – South Asia, VFS Global, said, “Indian travellers today increasingly seek convenience, comfort and flexibility. Our UK Premium Application Centres across India are designed specifically to meet these expectations, offering customers a more streamlined and personalised experience while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.”

VFS Global said applicants using the premium centres can also access additional support services, including assistance with UKVI account creation.

The company clarified that the Premium Application Centres are optional and available at an additional cost. It added that using these centres does not influence visa decisions, which are handled solely by UK Visas and Immigration. Applicants can continue to use standard UK Visa Application Centres across India without additional charges, except for mandatory UKVI service fees where applicable.
