Global Village Dubai has confirmed it will stay open until Sunday, 31 May, three weeks after its original scheduled closing date.

The extended season, which will now run after Eid Al-Adha, comes after the family-friendly theme park closed its doors for six weeks following the outbreak of the US-Israel-Iran war. Global Village finally reopened on Monday, 20 April, with daily opening hours running between 5pm and midnight.

The much-loved attraction that usually operates from October to May, Global Village will “continue to bring cultures, communities and families together through shared experiences during Season 30.”

Fernando Eiroa, chief executive officer at Dubai Holding Entertainment, said: “Concluding the season during Eid al-Adha, a time that brings communities together, allows us to celebrate alongside the families, residents and visitors who have made this chapter so memorable”.

Global Village Dubai’s latest season opened in October with a host of new and improved attractions. One of this season’s most exciting new additions was Gardens of the World, an immersive space that runs between pavilions, filled with exotic floral arrangements from around the world. Designed to be a relaxed space for families, the gardens offer a moment to pause in natural beauty.

There are 250 dining outlets dotted throughout the attraction, with myriad crowd-pleasers on offer, from candy floss and loaded fries to burgers and tacos. There are also plenty of authentic street food dishes that are hard to find anywhere else in the UAE, like Japanese takoyaki, Omani halwa and Bosnian ćevapi.

The park is currently offering visitors a number of deals, including unlimited rides for Dh99 ($27), and a special family deal, four tickets for the price of one.
