Warning: This article contains allegations which some readers may find distressing.

A Ukrainian model who was found on a roadside in Dubai has revealed the horrific extent of the injuries she faced after being ‘thrown off a roof’.

Maria Kovalchuk was discovered beaten and bloodied at the side of a road with a broken spine as well as injuries to numerous limbs, following fears that the 20-year-old had been kidnapped into ‘sexual slavery’.

Speaking about what happened to her, Maria has previously said her injuries came at the hands of some young Russian men who invited her to a party before becoming aggressive with her after some drinks.

Over on Instagram, Maria has been sharing the extent of her injuries – and her recovery – posting her rehabilitation routine, as well as the numerous scans and X-rays she has had to endure.

In one clip from earlier this year, she shared: “I am very grateful for everything that I have now and for the fact that I can live this life with an experience that will not allow me to break down.”

Recalling the incident previously to Russian news outlet Ostorozhno, Maria said that after missing her flight to Thailand, she met a 19-year-old man who suggested that his father could fly her to the Southeast Asian country on a private jet.

She hoped to take the young man up on his offer and agreed to go with him and his friends to a party in exchange but things turned sour when the men became aggressive and started smashing bottles.

Maria said: “They started teasing me, why I wasn’t drinking. Then some aggressive pushes like pushing in the shoulders began. After that, they started making fun of me like ‘you belong to us, we will do whatever we want.'”

She was later able to escape and took refuge in a nearby construction site, saying she ‘ran to the nearest building’ and ‘knew they were coming’, but the model said the men hunted her down and ‘beat her’.

In an interview with the MailOnline, Maria recalled her final moments before being attacked, she added: “Everything was a blur. I just ran.

“The next thing I remember is a sharp blow to my head. Then I remember briefly seeing a taxi driver who I called to for help before falling unconscious. After that, I woke up in the hospital.”

Maria explained that her injuries looked as though she was either beaten or had suffered a fall.

At the time, it was suspected that Maria may have been subject to an infamous ‘porta potty party’ in which rich men reportedly offer large sums of money to abuse and degrade young women.

Maria recently shared that she will never return to Dubai following her terrifying experience.
