The OECD will present its latest Economic Survey of Japan on Wednesday, 13 May 2026. The Survey looks at the country’s recent performance and how it can boost growth to build a more resilient, inclusive and sustainable economy.
OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann will present the Survey’s findings at a press conference hosted by the Japan National Press Club (JNPC) at 11:00 local time/ 04:00 CEST. The event will take place in the JNPC Press Conference Room, 2-2-1 Uchisaiwaicho, Chiyoda-ku Tokyo in Japan.
To attend the press conference in-person or online:
- Journalists who are members of JNPC can register directly at this link. Registration will close at 09:00 Tokyo Time (02:00 CEST) on 13 May.
- Journalists who are not members of JNPC can contact Yumiko Sugaya to register their attendance by 12 May.
- A link to join the press conference online will be sent to registered journalists an hour before the start of the press conference.
The press conference will be available afterwards as a replay on the JNPC’s YouTube channel.
