British luxury brand Burberry has unveiled a limited-time hotel takeover at The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon in Thailand. Running through July 31, 2026, the activation transforms the hotel into an immersive Burberry destination, bringing the brand’s signature aesthetic and summer spirit to the heart of Bangkok.
The project takes place at The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon, located within the iconic King Power Mahanakhon skyscraper. For the takeover, Burberry has reimagined its signature House Check in a distinctive yellow colorway, incorporating the pattern throughout various areas of the property.

A Signature Check Takes Over the Hotel
As part of the takeover, multiple spaces throughout the hotel have been transformed with Burberry’s visual identity, including the rooftop pool area, deck chairs, and a photo booth located inside The Parlor on the fourth floor.
The installation prominently features the House Check while complementing Bangkok’s vibrant urban landscape and resort-inspired atmosphere.
Wellness Experiences Inspired by Bangkok’s Green Identity
For this project, Burberry has drawn not only on its heritage of exploration and the outdoors but also on Bangkok’s official color, green.
The color is incorporated throughout a range of experiences, including wellness-focused programming designed to reflect the city’s energy and connection to nature.
At the rooftop pool, guests can enjoy a specially curated menu alongside a branded popsicle cart service. Set against Bangkok’s skyline, the activation offers visitors a relaxed summer experience in the heart of the city.
Where Fashion Meets Culture
The opening celebration will feature performances by Thai artists, while invited guests will have the opportunity to explore the city aboard Burberry Check-branded tuk-tuks.
In addition, the hotel boutique will offer Burberry’s High Summer collection and Summer 2026 collection, blending hospitality, retail, and brand storytelling into a single immersive experience.
