A man has been extradited to the UK from the United Arab Emirates and charged with the murder of Kamonnan Thiamphanit, 27, who was stabbed in Westminster in 2024, the Metropolitan Police say.
Enzo Bettamio, 18, was put on a flight from Dubai to the UK on Friday and then formally charged with the murder of Kamonnan, who was also known as Angela.
He is expected to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
“Angela’s family are aware of the update and continue to be supported by specialist officers,” the Met said in a statement.
