Appearance
The Helfryn set is obtainable by all players in Crimson Desert and features thick-leather cloak, stylish brown and black leather chest piece, gloves and high boots.
Stats
The Helfryn set is partially upgradeable and features a combined Defense that can be refined up to 94. It can also have up to 7 Abyss Gear Slots.
Acquisition
You can obtain the Helfryn set from four different locations in the main city in Demeniss. The items officially part of this set, are the Chestpiece, Cloak, Gloves, and Boots.
Helfryn Chestpiece Location
You can obtain the Helfryn Chestpiece from a hidden room up in the bell tower in City of Demeniss.
Climb the tower on the southwest side. Below the protruding slab near the top, there is a narrow wall you can push inward to access the hidden room with the treasure chest.
Helfryn Leather Cloak Location
You can find the Healfryn Leather Cloak in a treasure chest in the attic of a two-story house near the north city wall of the City of Demeniss.
You can access the house itself from many entry points. It is a normal house, like many others. And it’s empty, so if you feel like it, you can play a thief and loot some of the items inside.
But the attic where the treasure chest is, is only accessible through the window on the south facade of the house.
Helfryn Leather Gloves Location
You can find the Helfryn Leather Gloves inside a treasure chest in a hidden room up in one of the towers on the north city wall of the City of Demeniss.
There is a rotating wall segment up near the top of the tower, on its south side. Climb to it, use Resist and Force Palm to push and rotate it to access the hidden room.
Helfryn Leather Boots Location
You can find the Helfryn Leather Cloak in a secret room in the sewers in southwestern City of Demeniss.
Use Force Palm to break the wooden fence and enter inside the small chamber to loot the treasure chest.
Other Items
There are no other gear pieces officially part of this set. You can match any viking-like one-handed or two-handed sword. Weapons in Crimson Desert are very similar to each other in stats with only minor differences.
Tips to achieve the perfect outfit
You could hide the shield on your back as well as hide the helmet you are wearing but keep their stats. Remember, even if you are not using a shield in combat, but have one slotted, it still provides defense bonuses.
If you have played any of the Assassin’s Creed Games, you might find some similarities and possible inspirations Pearl Abyss devs may have taken from Ubisoft’s series.
The Helfryn set reminds me of Mentor’s Armor from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Or maybe it’s inspired by Bloodbourne? In any case, it’s one of the best-looking sets in the game!
