Acclaimed Dreamville rapper J.I.D. is set to perform in Kuala Lumpur for the very first time on 28 May
Organised by Future Sound Asia, he’ll be bringing his God Does Like World Tours to Vox Live KL.
And he’s not coming alone. The KL stop will also feature fellow artistes Mick Jenkins and Jordan Ward, making it a stacked night for hip-hop heads.

KL is just one stop on J.I.D’s world tour, which spans Europe, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia
Across Asia, he’ll also be hitting cities like Bangkok, Manila, Seoul, Tokyo, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong.

Born and raised in East Atlanta, J.I.D. first broke through with his 2015 EP DiCaprio, before catching the attention of J Cole and signing to Dreamville.
He went on to release The Never Story (2017) and DiCaprio 2 (2018), with the latter earning him a spot on XXL’s Freshman Class, an annual list spotlighting the most promising up-and-coming rappers.
Over the years, he’s evolved from an underground favourite into one of the most versatile rappers out there, spanning Dreamville collabs to mainstream hits like Enemy with Imagine Dragons

His 2022 album The Forever Story only pushed things further, and his latest release God Does Like Ugly sees him teaming up with names like Eminem, Clipse, and Ciara.
He’s also no stranger to big stages, having performed at major festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo.
