CATL (03750.HK) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Guangzhou Public Transport Group to deepen collaboration in areas such as battery supply, maintenance, recycling, and battery swapping networks. The two parties will jointly plan a battery swapping network for taxis in Guangzhou, providing citizens with diverse energy replenishment solutions, while also exploring new business areas such as electric vessels and low-altitude economy.
Since 2025, CATL has supplied Guangzhou Public Transport with 1,500 pure electric buses and three sets of power systems for fully electric vessels, and has collaborated in building six battery swap stations.
