CAIRO – 5 May 2026: The Consulate General of Egypt in Dubai and the Northern Emirates has issued an urgent advisory, Tuesday, calling on all Egyptian residents and visitors to exercise maximum caution and vigilance. This warning comes in light of the recent hostile attacks targeting parts of the United Arab Emirates on Monday.

The Consulate emphasized the necessity for Egyptian citizens to strictly follow instructions issued by UAE authorities through official channels. The advisory specifically warned against the dissemination of unverified news or “fake news” on social media platforms.

Furthermore, citizens are strictly prohibited from filming or sharing images related to the ongoing events or any incidents that conflict with UAE official directives, noting that such actions are legal violations punishable under UAE law.

In coordination with the current security situation, the Consulate urged travelers to closely monitor their flight statuses. Passengers are advised to check for real-time updates via official airline websites, verified social media pages, and direct communication with airline offices.

Monitoring official airport websites is also crucial to stay informed about any changes in flight schedules or airport operations.
