Jakarta, IO — Models showcase fashion creations during BTN Indonesia Fashion Week 2026 at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Jakarta (July 30).
Carrying the theme “Ulos Simetria,” the annual fashion event features more than 200 designers and fashion brands, serving as a platform to strengthen the national fashion industry ecosystem through collaboration among designers, fashion houses, artisans and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The exhibition and fashion shows run through Aug. 3, 2026.
The “Ulos Simetria” theme highlights ulos, the traditional woven textile of the Batak people, as its primary source of inspiration. Designers interpret the fabric through a variety of contemporary silhouettes, motifs and designs, blending traditional values with modern design approaches that reflect global fashion trends while preserving the philosophical meaning embedded in the cultural heritage.
