Volkswagen nears sale of stake in its India unit to JSW Group, Bloomberg News reports

July 21 (Reuters) – German carmaker Volkswagen ‌AG is ‌in advanced talks with ​India’s JSW Group to infuse fresh capital and ‌bolster its ⁠local unit in India, Bloomberg ⁠News reported on Tuesday, ​citing sources.

Both ​parties ​are working ‌toward a potential deal in the coming weeks involving JSW making ‌an investment ​in closely ​held ​Skoda Auto ‌Volkswagen India Pvt, ​the ​report said.

Reuters could not immediately ​verify ‌the report.
