L-R: CJ ENM’s Jangho Seo and Shilangi Mukherji with Prime Video’s Manish Menghani

Prime Video India and Korean entertainment company CJ ENM have agreed a multi-year distribution deal to significantly expand the Amazon-owned streamer’s K-content offering for Indian audiences.

A slate of 26 new titles from CJ ENM will be rolled out on Prime Video over the next two years as part of the collaboration, alongside titles from CJ ENM’s existing content library.

The partnership, spanning 100-plus titles over two years, is an extension of the existing global deal between Prime Video and CJ ENM.

All new and upcoming titles under the deal will feature subtitles in English and dubbing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Shilangi Mukherji, director and head of SVoD business at Prime Video India, said: “Building on our strong global relationship with CJ ENM and the deal announced last year, we’re excited to deepen this collaboration with a sharper focus on India.”

The slate kicks off with Yumi’s Cells season three and also includes Filing for Love, The Legend of Kitchen Soldier and romantic comedy My Bias, My Boss. Library titles included in the offering are Dear X, Law in the City, Study Group, My Dearest Nemesis, Search: WWW and Yumi’s Cells seasons one and two.
