UBS : expands scale and scope of flagship Asian Investment Conference in Hong Kong and Singapore

Hong Kong, 11 May 2026 – UBS AG today announced that the 29th edition of its flagship Asian Investment Conference (AIC, 瑞銀亞洲投資論壇) will take place in Singapore and Hong Kong from 25-29 May. Expanding the scale of Asia’s premier investor gathering, the conference will convene global policymakers, business leaders and investors to share perspectives on markets, policy and long-term investment themes. Inspirational and keynote speakers include Nobel Laureate Simon Johnson, former Australia Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, football legend Thierry Henry (see below for further agenda details).

UBS expects a global audience of more than 6,000 participants across both locations. This year’s event will kick off with the AIC Singapore Wealth Edition, returning for a second year on Monday, 25 May, for a day of market and investment discussions spanning macro, portfolio strategy and regional opportunities.

Hong Kong program highlights – First ever AIC Wealth Forum

The Hong Kong program will open on Tuesday, 26 May with the inaugural AIC Wealth Forum (亞洲投資論壇財富峰會), curated for UBS Global Wealth Management clients. The forum will bring together senior industry leaders, next-generation innovators and prominent women in wealth management to discuss macro and geopolitical developments and key investment themes including artificial intelligence, longevity, global connectivity and commodities.

Also on 26 May, the UBS APAC Family Office Summit will convene family office principals and decision-makers to exchange views and build networks focused on managing and preserving multigenerational wealth.

In parallel, the two half-day sessions in the Trading and Execution Track, hosted by the Investment Bank, will spotlight insights and solutions spanning quantitative strategies, data and execution, with sessions featuring regulators, liquidity providers, industry practitioners and UBS experts.

Main AIC Conference agenda: “Investing in an age of change”

The AIC main conference agenda runs on 27-28 May (Wednesday-Thursday) and is expected to draw a record audience across public and private corporates, as well as clients from 38 countries across APAC, the Americas and EMEA.

The AIC reflects UBS’s One Bank approach, strengthening connectivity across the Investment Bank, Global Wealth Management and Asset Management to deliver tailored content for institutional investors, private clients, family offices, corporates and founders.

Themed “Investing in an age of change,” the AIC brings global policymakers, central bank veterans, Nobel laurate and business leaders together to shed light on how investors can navigate profound economic and geopolitical shifts driven by evolving policy, global realignment and structural change.

Program highlights include a strong line-up of keynote conversations, in-depth panel discussions, a star guest appearance, side events and UBS-led research tours:


  • Technology, power and the future of growth
    – A dialogue between Simon Johnson, 2024 Nobel Laureate, and The Hon Dr Kevin Rudd A.C., President and CEO, Asia Society; Former Ambassador of Australia to the United States; 26th Prime Minister of Australia, on how politics and technology are reshaping global growth, inflation and capital flows.
  • Global capital at an inflection – David Rubenstein, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of Carlyle, in conversation with Iqbal Khan, Co-President UBS Global Wealth Management and President UBS Asia Pacific on markets, investing and long-term opportunities.
  • What next for monetary policy? – Perspectives from Adrian Orr, former Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (2018-2025), and Charles Evans, former President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago (2007-2023).
  • Geopolitics: Who holds the cards? – Insights from prominent political leaders Alastair Campbell, Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s Spokesperson, Press Secretary, and Director of Communications and Strategy; Dr Ng Eng Hen, Former Minister for Defence, Singapore (2011-2025) and Carla Sands, U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark (2017-2021), on the evolving global landscape.
  • Navigating growth, stability and reform in Japan’s economy -Satsuki Katayama, Japanese Minister of Finance, Minister of State for Financial Services and Minister in charge of Reviewing Special Measures Concerning Taxation and Subsidies, on the country’s role in a shifting global economic and financial order.
  • The next phase of China’s economy –Dr Huang Haizhou, leading China macro financial economist and PBoC Monetary Policy Committee member will shed light on China’s evolving economy.


UBS Craft of Sport with Thierry Henry

Thierry Henry, a former FIFA World Cup winner, Arsenal legend, coach and football pundit, will take the stage at AIC this year. With the FIFA World Cup just weeks away, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from the former champion at an exclusive Craft of Sport session, exploring how top performers balance instinct, experience and analysis when decisions must be made under pressure. This session will be the fourth in a series with UBS clients across London, Paris, Singapore and Hong Kong.
