Lee Andrews has stopped following his wife Katie Price on Instagram.

Katie, 48, revealed last week that she had located Lee a fortnight after he went missing. The former glamour model had previously refuted claims made by his father Peter that Lee had been arrested and detained in Dubai, but subsequently confirmed he was being held at Dubai’s Al Awir prison, and that he had told her he was under suspicion of espionage.

Katie had reportedly been left furious after her Instagram account vanished, and it appeared she would be forced to abandon her 2.6 million followers and start afresh. She has since managed to recover her account and has returned to the platform.

However, one notable person is no longer amongst her followers — her own husband, Lee. The businessman had previously followed only Katie on Instagram, but is now not following anybody at all.

It remains unclear whether Lee himself unfollowed Katie, or indeed how he would have had access to a mobile phone from inside a prison cell. Lee was reportedly due to be released from custody on Monday, 1st June, reports the Daily Star.

Katie confirmed she had finally made contact with her husband last week, saying: “I have found him, he is alive, and he is ok. I told him how worried I had been and told him I loved him. It was very rushed but he said the authorities out there thought he was a spy.” Prior to locating him, Katie had worried Lee might have been abducted.

She recalled that the final sighting before his disappearance showed him inside an “old, dirty van” with his hands tied – with Lee claiming he’d been taken to a “black site”.

Katie revealed she’d informed Lee during a telephone conversation that he was “the most hated man in Britain”. Speaking to her sister Sophie on their podcast, she explained: “I went ‘Don’t worry about it Lee just focus on one thing – you are the most hated man in Britain’ is what I said.

“He said ‘what, what, why?’ and I said ‘trust me, you are the most hated man in Britain, everyone thinks this is a scammer, everyone thinks I’m in on it’.

“He’s like ‘what has gone on, I haven’t seen anything’ and I said ‘we will discuss it all when you’re out’. It’s been a b****y nightmare it’s gone viral, this and that.”
