Amanda Lyons arrested in Dubai after Interpol Red Notice in Global crime crackdown
Amanda Lyons, the wife of Steven Lyons, was arrested at Dubai Airport after being flagged on an Interpol Red Notice. The alert, used to locate wanted individuals internationally, led Dubai Police to detain her as part of a global crackdown on the Lyons clan’s alleged drug trafficking network.
Her arrest is linked to Operation Armorum, a large-scale investigation led by the Spanish Civil Guard with support from agencies including Europol, the National Crime Agency, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Authorities say the operation has dismantled a highly organised network involved in drug trafficking and money laundering across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
