Emergency services are responding to a fire at an under-construction building in Dubai.
The blaze, understood to have broken out in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) district on Sunday afternoon, sent thick plumes of black smoke billowing into the skies.
Residents from across the city, including in Sports City and The Greens, took to social media to report smoke rising.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. Dubai Civil Defence has been contacted for further comment.
