Rao Inderjit Yadav, wanted by Haryana Police, has denied reports of his arrest in Dubai, stating that he remains at his home and has not been contacted by any authority. The allegations of his detention were reported by a section of the media citing unnamed sources, with claims that Yadav could be extradited to India soon.

In a video interview with ANI, Yadav said, “I am sitting at my home in Dubai. I have not been arrested. I have not received a single notice or summons from any authority.”

His lawyer, Vijay Aggarwal, described the arrest reports as “false and irresponsible” and indicated plans for legal action against attempts to damage his client’s reputation through false news.

Aggarwal added, “My client is in touch with me and all this news flashing is baseless, it is causing mental trauma to my client and we will be taking some legal action on this…My client is a law-abiding citizen…No summon has been issued by the Dubai authorities.”

Yadav and his associates are under investigation by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case. Officials have stated that the businessman-turned-gangster is wanted in multiple cases registered by Haryana Police. Previously, Haryana Police initiated steps to secure a red corner notice against him.
