The new managing director, Hong Kong, has a track record of leading large teams, driving growth across key markets, and building client relationships, alongside her experience in wealth planning and intergenerational succession.
UOB Private Bank has
appointed Judy Chan (pictured) as managing director, Hong Kong,
effective from July 2026. She will be based in Hong Kong and will
report to Chew Mun Yew, head of group private bank.
In her new role, Chan will oversee client coverage, team
leadership and the delivery of wealth solutions for high net
worth clients in Hong Kong, the firm said in a statement. She
will also be responsible for driving client engagement,
strengthening the bank’s market presence and advancing UOB
private bank’s priorities in Hong Kong.
Chan brings close to 30 years of banking experience, having held
management roles in both private banking and commercial banking.
She has a track record of leading large teams, driving growth
across key markets, and building client relationships, alongside
experience in wealth planning and intergenerational succession.
Against the backdrop of Asia’s expanding wealth market, Chan’s
appointment reflects UOB private bank’s ambition to strengthen
its position as a prominent Asian wealth manager. As part of

senior talent and capabilities in Hong Kong to strengthen its
