Urban Tadka, in Lyndhurst Road, is mainly a takeaway, but has some seats for casual dining.

It opened on June 18, and co-owner Mo Islam said business is going very well so far. Mo is running Urban Tadka with a friend, and has experience from owning Mumbai Kitchen several years ago.

The Urban Tadka website says: “Welcome to Urban Tadka, your local Indian Streatery in Worthing, serving bold Indian street-food favourites, rich curries, sizzling tandoori dishes, biryanis, fusion boxes and freshly made Indian breads.

“Inspired by the true taste of the streets, our menu brings together traditional Indian flavours with modern street-food style. From butter chicken, tikka masala and lamb curry to samosa chaat, pani puri, desi wings, kati rolls and tandoori grills, every dish is prepared with flavour, warmth and personality.”
