VIDALIA, La. (KNOE) – The Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal (OSFM) has charged a Vidalia man after an investigation found a vehicle fire in Concordia Parish was deliberately set.
Investigators announced they charged Keon Moore, 48, with automobile insurance fraud, criminal mischief and obstruction of justice.
Concordia Parish Fire District 2 responded to a car fire at 10:16 p.m. on March 30, 2026, on Levee Heights Road near Fisherman Drive in Ferriday, OSFM said.
Following an investigation, OSFM said evidence confirmed the involvement of the car’s owner, Moore. Arrest warrants were obtained for Moore, and he surrendered to the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office on June 30, 2026, OSFM said.
