Several Bosnian media sources reported today that Bosnian engineering company Energoinvest has secured its return to the Libyan market after more than a decade by signing an international contract with the Libyan Iron and Steel Company (LISCO).

The deal, valued at a €2.71 million, focuses on constructing power supply facilities in the city of Misrata.

At the time of publication, LISCO had not announced the deal on its media pages.

Bosnia Herzegovina and LISCO sign a cooperation agreement
LISCO did, however, announce the signing of a cooperation agreement with Bosnia Herzegovina.

The agreement was signed at the end of a visit by the Ambassador of Bosnia Herzegovina, Senad Mašović, and his accompanying delegation, to LISCO in Misrata yesterday. the Ambassador was hosted by LISCO Chairman, Mohamed Al-Fagih, along with several company officials.

LISCO reported that the agreement will enhance partnership areas, open broader avenues for coordination in areas of mutual interest and serve the goals of industrial development.

It said that the visit comes within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations and opening new horizons for cooperation between the company and its counterparts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in addition to continuing discussions initiated during the Libyan-Bosnian Forum hosted by the company last March.

During the visit, the Ambassador viewed a presentation on the company’s production processes, capabilities, and the progress it has achieved in various fields of the iron and steel industry.
