Myanmar Consulate-General in Chongqing Holds Myanmar Sein Ta Lone Mango Introduction Event(11-5-2026, Chongqing) – Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Myanmar Consulate-General in Chongqing organized a Myanmar Sein Ta Lone Mango Introduction Event on 11 May 2026 at the Myanmar Consulate-General located in the World Financial Center, Chongqing, with the aim of promoting and expanding the market for Myanmar’s renowned Sein Ta Lone mangoes.
The event was attended by distinguished guests including Mr. Zhu Mao, Deputy Director-General of the Culture and Tourism Commission of the Chongqing Municipal Government, and Ms. Fan Qing, Second Level Inspector from the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government. More than 60 guests attended the event, including the officials from various government departments, Consuls-General from the Consulates-General of Belarus, Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia and Vietnam, and representatives from foreign consular missions in Chongqing and Chengdu, business representatives, and invited guests.
During the ceremony, Myanmar Consul-General U Kyaw Zay Yar Lin delivered opening remarks and welcomed the guests, followed by the screening of a promotional video featuring Myanmar Sein Ta Lone mangoes. Afterwards, Ms. Fan Qing, Second Level Inspector from the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government, delivered remarks expressing appreciation for the event.
Following the ceremony, guests were served Myanmar Sein Ta Lone mangoes, mango-based pastries and beverages, as well as Myanmar tea. The Myanmar Consulate-General in Chongqing also showcased Myanmar Sein Ta Lone mangoes, Myanmar coffee, Myanmar tea, and Myanmar beer and alcoholic beverages at the event.
