What’s new at Al Mamzar Beach?

Community response to the reopening

Part of a wider Dubai beach development plan

The Al Mamzar Beaches project forms part of a broader Dh3 billion initiative to upgrade Dubai’s coastline and increase beach capacity by up to 170 per cent.

This wider plan includes developments across multiple locations such as Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim, and Jebel Ali, with projects scheduled through to 2030.

Zainab was born and raised in the UAE and proudly calls herself a Dubai kid. She oversees the Living in UAE section, where she writes stories that matter to people across the country, covering laws, rules, and everyday changes that impact residents, and breaking them down to make life easier for those living here.

She also dabbles in other beats, diving into human interest pieces that highlight the diverse stories of people in the UAE, and occasionally writing about mental health with a focus on real voices and lived experiences.
