Elea Technology will present its latest Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) solutions for snack processing at SnackEx 2026, taking place on June 17–18, 2026 at the FIL Expo in Lisbon, Portugal. The company will highlight new system developments and demonstrate how PEF can support efficiency, product quality and process optimization in potato and vegetable snack production.

Visitors to Booth 215 will have the opportunity to explore Elea’s latest technologies and discuss practical applications for improving processing performance across snack production lines.

PEF systems and innovations on display

Elea will showcase its compact PEF Advantage B Micro system alongside the PiCon system, an AI-driven inline solution designed to enhance automation, control and precision in PEF processing.

The company will also provide insights into its PEF Advantage systems for potato and vegetable chips, with a focus on process optimization in cutting, frying and texture development. Experts will be available to discuss integration strategies and efficiency improvements tailored to individual production lines.

Application Support Manager Kevin Hill will participate in the Snack Science Hub, where he will present on the future of PEF technology and the role of artificial intelligence in snack processing.

  • Lower production costs through improved efficiency and yield utilization
  • Up to 90% lower energy and water use in key processing steps
  • Up to 50% reduction in cutting force for smoother, more efficient slicing
  • Lower oil uptake and improved product quality for crispier, brighter chips
  • Higher yield with less waste, breakage and starch loss
  • More consistent colour, texture and frying performance
  • Tailored insights from Elea experts for production lines

Elea Technology will present its solutions at SnackEx 2026 in Lisbon, where visitors can explore how PEF technology can be applied to potato, sweet potato, cassava and other vegetable-based snack production.
