Swindon Borough Council first approved the plans for a £5 million development of the vacant Fraser Centre site on Faraday Road in 2023.
CBRE Group, an American real estate firm, claimed the Fraser Centre scheme at the site near Dorcan Industrial Estate would be the first of its kind in Swindon for 10 years.
The industrial estate comprises of three detached units with secure yards and four terraced units, ranging from the smallest 4,571 square feet units to the largest 12,139 square feet unit.
Each comes with electric loading doors, EV charging points, and accommodation suitable for storage or office use.
Now, three of the units have been listed as for sale/to let on RightMove.

Units two, three and four are the smallest of the seven units, at 4,571 square feet each, and are now available for storage and distribution use.
They are being marketed by WBM Commercial Property Limited in Swindon and while the asking price has not been publicly displayed on RightMove, a brochure suggests a guide price of £1,145,000 each for units two, three and four.
A guide price of £1,675,000 has been set for the first unit.
The largest unit – unit six, is a whopping 12,139 square feet and has a guide price of £3,035,000.

Philip Cranstone, senior director at CBRE, added: “There has been a scarcity of small multi-let industrial developments in Swindon and the wider region in recent times, and The Fraser Centre represents the first such development of its type in the town for 10 years.”
A spokesperson for developer Robert Cort Propertie said the scheme will meet demand for “high-quality” industrial units and support growth.
Prior to this new industrial estate being built, the site was occupied by the former Fraser Centre building which had been left vacant since December 2020.
The building was demolished by Lawson Groups over a period of weeks in 2024 to make room for the new development, and a sub-station and diesel generator were also removed.
Planning director, Nick Kirby, from planning and development consultancy firm Lichfields, said: “This development is another big boost for Swindon.”
“The town continues to be sought after by businesses looking to take advantage of quality commercial accommodation in a great strategic location with excellent transport links and access to a skilled workforce.”
