JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM) Declares Common Stock Dividend

On May 19, JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) declared a quarterly dividend of $1.40 per share on its common stock, which was in line with its previous dividend. The company declared preferred stock dividends on May 15.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) is an American multinational financial services and banking firm with a strong footprint across key areas of the financial industry and $4.4 trillion in assets, as of March 2025. The company has consistently paid dividends to its shareholders since 2000, establishing a solid track record. It has significantly increased its annual dividend, growing from $0.20 per share in 2010 to $4.60 in 2024. With a five-year average payout ratio of under 30%, the company maintains healthy cash flow, allowing it to sustain these payments with ease.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) posted its first quarter 2025 earnings on April 11 and reported a common dividend distribution worth $3.9 billion. The firm also maintained a strong capital position, with a CET1 Capital Ratio of 15.4%, highlighting its disciplined and strategic financial management amid evolving economic conditions. As of May 19, the stock has a dividend yield of 2.11%. JPM will trade ex-dividend on July 3.
