Staffordshire law firm Myers & Co has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Kerry Boyle as head of commercial property, as it looks to grow the department and expand its client base.

Based at the firm’s Stoke office, Kerry joins Myers & Co with more than 23 years’ experience in commercial property law.

She arrives from Beeston Shenton Solicitors in Newcastle-under-Lyme, having previously spent over two decades at North Staffordshire firm Tinsdills Solicitors.

Kerry advises on a broad range of commercial property matters, including landlord and tenant work, development agreements, sales and acquisitions, property portfolios, finance arrangements and auction transactions.

In her new role, she will lead the development of the commercial property team while supporting the firm’s wider growth ambitions.

Kerry said: “My values and those of Myers & Co are closely aligned – putting our clients’ needs first while ensuring the whole team supports and develops each individual to maximise everyone’s strengths.

“I’m extremely excited to be part of a firm that promotes career development through first-class training so that we can continue to provide the excellent client service that Myers & Co has done for the last 20 years.

“I’m eagerly looking forward to what is to come, and what we can achieve together.”

Founded in 2005, Myers & Co is a full-service law firm with nearly 50 staff, advising clients across Staffordshire and the West Midlands.

Tim Newsome, managing director of Myers & Co, added: “What struck me when I first met Kerry was how she clearly cares about her clients and how enthusiastic she is about supporting and developing junior talent – which fits exactly with what we believe is important at Myers & Co.

“Alongside that, Kerry brings vast experience, great technical expertise and strong leadership skills, making her ideally suited to lead our commercial property team.

“We’re extremely pleased to welcome her to the firm, and look forward to seeing her take the department forward.”
