Land Energy has also introduced a new range of organic soil enhancers made from previously unused co-products, designed to improve soil health and support regenerative agriculture and gardening practices.
These innovations align with the company’s mission to deliver ‘real environmental gain’ by reducing reliance on fossil fuels while building a resilient, circular economy rooted in Ayrshire and beyond. Reg Stewart, business excellence lead at Land Energy, said: “Innovation is at the heart of everything we do.
“From renewable energy to sustainable products, our entire nationwide team is constantly finding smarter, cleaner, and more efficient ways to operate. This award is a proud recognition of our people’s creativity and our commitment to building a greener future.”
The Ayrshire Business Awards celebrate the success and innovation of local enterprises across the region.
Land Energy’s recognition underscores Ayrshire’s renewable energy sector and its contribution to sustainable economic development.
Founded in 2006, Land Energy has become the UK’s largest producer of sustainable wood pellets and briquettes, supplying renewable fuel to homes and businesses nationwide, as well as producing cat litter and horse bedding.
