Private equity firm Platinum Equity has acquired Anuvu, a Chicagoland-based provider of media technology and connectivity solutions for airlines, cruise lines and other mobility markets, according to a news release issued Wednesday.
The acquisition is expected to serve as a catalyst for Anuvu’s next phase of growth, expanding its global presence and strengthening its offerings across entertainment and communication services.
Anuvu delivers media technology by licensing and distributing entertainment content for more than 150 aviation and 30 maritime clients worldwide. The company also provides broadband satellite internet access and telecommunications solutions to support connectivity for its customers.
