THE German Darts Championship is the final European Tour event of the year.

This journey across the continent began in March and it concludes with a pivotal final stop in the city of Halle, Germany.

The top 32 players over all 14 European Tour events this year qualify for the European Championship next weekend.

So the German Darts Championship is the final chance for players to book their spot in the major.

Luke Littler has already qualified so sits out this one, but the likes of Rob Cross and defending champion Peter Wright are all in action as they need to book their spot.

Aside from European Tour ranking points, a huge amount of cash is on offer to players.

Here is a breakdown of what is there to be won:

  • Winner: £30,000
  • Runner-Up: £12,000
  • Semi-Finals: £8,500
  • Quarter-Finals: £6,000
  • Third Round: £4,000
  • Second Round: £2,500
  • First Round: £1,250
  • Total: £175,000

When is the German Darts Championship 2025?

  • The action gets underway on Friday, October 17 at 12pm BST.
  • It concludes with a blockbuster session involving the quarters, semi and final on Sunday, October 19 from 6pm BST.
  • The Halle 39 venue in Germany hosts the tournament.
