Black Friday is in full swing, with many retailers having already launched sales online and in stores.

UK consumers are expected to splash the cash and spend £9.52billion across Black Friday weekend, according to latest analysis from VoucherCodes.

“It’s clear that the nation is on the hunt, now more than ever, to cash in on those important savings,“ says VoucherCodes shopping expert, Zoe Morris.

But not every deal is as good as it seems, so it is important you do your research. The Mirror has rounded up some of the latest Black Friday offers so you know the best places to hunt down a discount.

Black Friday shopping tips

Compare prices: Make sure you compare prices online to check you are actually getting a bargain. Some websites that let you track prices include Price Spy, Google Shopping, Price Runner and CamelCamelCamel.

Make a list: Write yourself a Black Friday shopping list and stick to it, so only buy what you actually need. A bargain is never really a bargain if you were not already planning on buying it.

Don’t forget discount codes: Try stacking discount codes on top of the Black Friday sale. VoucherCodes. includes a purple “works with sale” tag whenever a code or gift card reward can be used alongside a sitewide offer.

Be aware of scams: Fraudsters are often out in full force during Black Friday. Make sure you stick to reputable retailers that you trust – if you are not sure, you can check their rating on Trustpilot. If in doubt, do not hand over any of your money.
