Grote Industries Unveils New Safety Systems to Reduce Roadside and Rear-End Collisions From: Grote Industries Inc.

At the American Trucking Associations’ Management Conference & Exhibition, Grote Industries unveiled two new safety technologies designed to help reduce roadside and rear-end collisions for commercial fleets.

The first, H.E.L.P. DeliverSAFE, was developed with Emergency Safety Solutions (ESS) and combines lighting and digital alerts to improve roadside visibility. The system uses rapid flash patterns and synchronized lighting to outline a vehicle, while digital notifications send real-time hazard alerts to nearby drivers through navigation apps and in-cab displays.

Research from Virginia Tech found that 87% of drivers slow down or change lanes when exposed to H.E.L.P. alerts — nearly three times more effective than standard hazard lights. DeliverSAFE is available as part of Grote’s 4SEE platform or as a stand-alone product.

Grote also introduced the 4SEE Rear-Collision Warning System, which uses radar sensors, an auxiliary strobe, and data processing to warn motorists approaching too quickly from behind. The system aims to address rear-end crashes, which account for nearly 30% of commercial vehicle accidents, according to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

Both systems are built on Grote’s 4SEE Digital Harness, which enables secure data transfer, light-out detection and over-the-air updates.
