ABB India, Deloitte form alliance to advance digital transformation in manufacturing

ABB India and Deloitte India have announced a strategic alliance aimed at supporting Indian manufacturing companies in their digital transformation efforts. The partnership focuses on helping enterprises manage operational demands as industries adapt to new digital systems and data-driven models.

The agreement will bring together ABB India’s industrial automation technology and Deloitte India’s experience in digital transformation and cybersecurity. Through this collaboration, companies will be able to integrate digital tools across their operations, monitor systems in real time and use data to improve production efficiency. The alliance also places significant emphasis on cybersecurity to ensure that connected operations remain protected from evolving threats.

A key part of the collaboration includes the use of ABB Ability Genix Industrial Analytics and AI Suite. This platform enables companies to analyse data, automate processes and support decision-making across their value chain. Combined with Deloitte India’s advisory capabilities, enterprises can adopt digital systems that help optimise energy use, strengthen asset reliability and manage risks. The partners expect this approach to help organisations plan for growth while meeting current performance goals.

Kapil Agarwal, Senior Vice President and Local Division Manager, Process Industries, ABB India, noted, “This collaboration with Deloitte India combines our domain expertise and cutting-edge technologies with their proven transformation and cybersecurity capabilities.”

Deepa Seshadri, Partner, Deloitte India, said, “Enterprises today are operating in an environment where digital advantage must be matched with strong cyber resilience. Our alliance with ABB India will enable organisations to use AI-driven intelligence, build secure and connected ecosystems, and achieve measurable outcomes.”

The alliance is expected to help businesses adopt predictive control systems, improve maintenance practices and use manufacturing management platforms to streamline operations. It also aims to support sustainability goals by enabling companies to reduce energy consumption, emissions and waste through integrated digital processes.
