Gibraltar has announced its participation in a global coalition of territories committing to the adoption of new measures that will improve international cooperation on tax. The agreement will see Gibraltar adopt a framework which will allow for the automatic exchange of information on land and property owners between authorities and aims to combat tax evasion. India’s gold demand remained strong in 2025 as prices hit record highs multiple times during the year, said Sachin Jain, Managing Director of the World Gold Council India.Jain said this year delivered “over 45 all-time peaks” in prices and strong returns. Sophos, a global leader of innovative security solutions for defeating cyberattacks, today announced new findings from the Sophos State of Ransomware in Manufacturing and Production 2025 report. The study reveals that manufacturers are stopping more ransomware attacks before data can be encrypted; however, adversaries are increasingly stealing data and using extortion-only tactics to maintain pressure. As a result, more than half of manufacturing organizations impacted by encryption paid the ransom despite progress in defensive measures. Silver Prices Today: Silver futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) kept their upward trend on Monday, jumping Rs 4,000.
