Officer from Cumbria Police’s Road Policing Unit uplifted the vehicle on Sunday, November 16 after receiving information about the vehicle from the Eden Neighbourhood Team.
Police then reminded drivers about the importance of ensuring that vehicles have valid road tax and insurance.
Writing on social media, Eden Police said: “Driving without tax or insurance isn’t just a legal issue, it puts you and other road users at risk.
“Insurance ensures that if there’s an accident, people and property are protected.
“Vehicle tax helps keep our roads maintained and safe.
“When a car has neither, it’s not only breaking the law but also increasing the chances of harm and financial loss for everyone.
“That’s why police uplift vehicles in these circumstances: to prevent uninsured drivers from continuing to use the roads and to keep the public safe.”
