Two unusual plots of land are going under the hammer in Swindon for thousands of pounds.
Estate agents and auctioneers McHugh & Co has listed a strip of land and roadway at Whitehill Way and land south of 21 Ecklington, off Eldene Drive, not far from the Morrisons, and Eldene Surgery, with a guide price of £5,000 each.
The freehold land and roadway at Whitehill Way is around 1.3 acres located on a busy main road, surrounded by housing and near the Asda Superstore, Cineworld, Link Centre and Tenpin bowling.

Meanwhile, the land south of 21 Ecklington, which is in a residential area situated in a cul-de-sac off Eldene Drive, is approximately 8,250 sq ft.

It is unclear what either plot of land could be used for, but the buyer would need to obtain planning permission from Swindon Borough Council if they were looking to make significant changes.
The auction is set to take place on the morning of Thursday, December 4 and viewings are recommended before placing a bid on the day, as well as reading through the legal documentation.
Although the guide price is £5,000 for each of these plots, there will be additional non-refundable buyer’s fees, which vary depending on how much they sell for.
