NEW DELHI: Well, if we dwell on the history of induction lamps, then we will find that these lamps are present today for around a hundred years. These lamps have been the foundation of the fundamentals of lighting system for a pretty long time now.

But, today with the intervention of technology and eco-friendly lighting systems, people are cutting themselves from the induction lighting solutions.

However, most people don’t realize that induction lighting solutions are one of the most important modern lighting methods. They are a very interesting way to improve the lighting structure of industrial places. For the industrial environment, induction lighting systems are highly effective as this lighting has improved a lot in the past few years.

Benefits of Induction Lighting in Commercial Setup

If you are planning to change the lighting environment of your commercial place, then you cannot avoid the benefits of induction lighting. Some of the vital benefits of using induction lighting at commercial places are:

1. Highly Energy Efficient

Commercial places need to save their energy consumption level to reduce their production costs. By using the induction lamps, commercial places can make their place highly energy efficient by reducing 95 to 98% of the energy consumption of their place.

This is because induction lamps depend upon heating a filament to generate light. That’s why as compared to incandescent or fluorescent bulbs, they are highly energy efficient.

2. Long Life

Induction lamps are very useful for commercial places because they don’t need constant replacements. You can put an induction lamp at your place and you don’t have two change them after a few days because in the normal circumstances a lifespan of induction lamp is between 70,000-100,000 hours.

However, to reach the full life span of an induction lamp, it has to overcome numerous challenges like ballast failure and dimming over time. These are the common problems that every induction lamp has to face.

3. Quick Start

For industrial places, it is very important to have an efficient lighting system that starts immediately with the flicker of one finger so that employees don’t have to waste their time in the morning to start their day.

In this situation, induction bulbs are very useful because they start immediately once you press the switch. They don’t take any time to warm up even during the cold weather.

4. Proper Brightness

Induction bulbs offer the perfect amount of brightness that is required by industries to make their employees efficient and productive. When employees have to perform certain detail work, then they need to have a proper lighting source so that they won’t miss out on anything.

In this, induction lamps are very helpful as they impart a high-level of brightness which is very important to perform detailing work.

Okay, so induction lamps might have some negative points also like ballast failure and dimming over time. But, if we let go of these few negative points, then we can easily see that induction bulbs have numerous benefits and can make industrial and commercial places highly efficient. So, if you want an effective lighting system for your commercial place, then don’t underestimate induction lights.
